Of course you do.

We probably have an answer.

You could probably text us, but who knows if we’ll have time to respond. So in the spirit of getting ahead of things, we’ve put together this little list of questions you might have, and answered them.

What day should I RSVP by?

Please, try to RSVP by September 1st. We only have 100 spots to fill and we want to make sure everyone can make it.

Is there a shuttle from the Emily Hotel?

The Emily Hotel is 6 blocks away from the venue. You should be able to walk to the venue. The way back should be ok to walk back, but you can always find a cab/Uber/Lyft if you don’t feel comfortable.

What airport do I fly into?

O’hare international airport or Midway are the Chicago airports. They’re about 20-30ish minute cab rides to the city from there.

Are children invited?

Only our nieces and nephews are invited to the wedding. If you have kids, you might want to find a sitter.

Can I wear a white dress?

Someone should. Kidding. Even for a gay wedding, that’s poor form.

Where can I stay if the hotel block is booked?

There are two other hotels on the page that are also fairly close to the venue. If those are booked you should be fine at any hotel downtown or an Airbnb. It’s Chicago, wherever you stay, it’s about a 20 minute cab ride to where you need to be.

Is it an open bar?

Duh.

What kind of food is it?

Do you ask this at every wedding you go to? Latin fusion. It will be delicious.

Is there parking near the venue?

There is street parking but it would be best to find a SpotHero or leave the car at the hotel/parking garage.

What’s the dress code?

You must have missed this one on the page. It’s black tie. Dress nice. It’s a wedding.

What is there to do in town?

We have a whole tab at the top. Click on I’m Here Now What at the top and you can find a list of our favorite places in the city.
